Happy Medal Monday! 

I was not expecting these to come today. And one, I wasn’t expecting at all. Yet here they are! The patch is for the NYRR Run Four Out of Six program for 2018. My patch collection continues to grow. Maybe I’ll put them all on a jacket one day.

The plaque is from #USATF in certification that I earned the Gold Phidippides Award for Outstanding Performance and Endurance in Long Distance Running. This is doubly exciting because this is my second one and also because I also ran Athens, the Authentic Marathon. This honor is named after the first man that ran the marathon in Greece!!! This changes my yet to be revealed medal display. I still haven’t finished writing my recap of 2018. A year that I may never outmatch.
